Around noon on Monday, May 10th, Station 27 (A Platoon) and Medic 308A (Plymouth Ambulance) was dispatched to a vehicle accident with injuries. As units arrived, they found several vehicles involved it with at least one patient requiring extrication. The assignment was quickly upgraded to a vehicle rescue bringing additional resources to the scene. Units worked diligently to remove a passenger door to gain entry into the vehicle. The patient was extricated and care was transferred to awaiting EMS units. Several additional ambulances were dispatched to the scene, and assistance was provided by Engine 56 and Rescue 56-1 (Upper Merion).
