Beginning in the early morning hours of Saturday, September 19th A platoon was dispatched to the report of multiple car fires on E. Marshall St. As Crews arrived, they found 2 vehicles well off and extinguished the same. Crews remained on location for a little more than an hour.
Later in the day, B platoon was dispatched to the area of E. Marshall St. and Violet St. for a building fire. As units were responding, a header was visible from a few blocks out confirming a working fire. On arrival, units found an outside fire against the building with very little extension. The fire was extinguished and overhauled. Crews cleared the scene in about an hour.
In the evening, B platoon was again dispatched to the 700 block of George St. for a reported bedroom fire. AC27 arrived on location and confirmed a working fire with fire on the 2nd floor of a 2 story twin. Crews stretched a handline and knocked down the fire in quick succession. Units completed a primary search and vented the building. Units remained on location to assist the fire marshal with the investigation and cleared the scene in about 2 hours.
No injuries were reported at any of the working incidents and we would like to thank the many mutual aid companies that responded to assist.
